As an Operations Support Assistant, you will handle operational emails, schedules, reports, and departmental communication while supporting leadership with accurate data and documentation. This position is essential for ensuring operational flow, coordinating with various internal departments, and maintaining resources for smooth catering operations within Qatar Airways Group.What You'll Do
- Monitor and manage operational email communications for the department
- Prepare work schedules, print checklists and labels, and maintain filing systems
- Communicate updates from the Operations Standards Department to the shop floor team
- Act as the point of contact between Operations Control Centre and the operations team
- Monitor staff attendance and submit records to the administration team
- Distribute alerts, notices, and memos to departmental staff
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation for internal leadership meetings
- Manage requisition of stationery and operational supplies from QACC stores
- Oversee inventory and maintenance of devices and tools such as scanners, iPads, and temperature guns
- Ensure proper distribution and collection of chiller jackets and coordination with laundry services
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the department head
- High School Certificate with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Previous work in a large-scale catering operation or five-star hotel environment is preferred
- Familiarity with HACCP policies and quality standards
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Professional demeanor for communicating with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
