  • Should have minimum experience of 10 years, and are experts in setting KPIs, drawing strategy maps, data analysis, risk evaluation and management, dash boards productions, health intelligence, performance measures, and monitoring and evaluation.

  • All candidates must have clinical set-up experience. either coming from health care allied background or have worked in hospitals.

JOB ROLEHEALTH ANALYSIS AND REPORTSThe Health Analysis and Reporting Specialist works under the directions of Senior Lead for analysis and reporting, to support efficient functioning of Health Analytics and Reporting Section. The Specialist is responsible for data collection and validation, processing and modelling, reporting and continuous evolution of Section outputs, supported by a thorough understanding of reporting and analytical needs within the organization and SPPD in particular.The Specialist:
  • Analyses reporting needs and requirements in close collaboration with SPPD sections and MOPH Departments, and other internal and external stakeholders. Gathers and documents detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Stays abreast of data and information availability across MOPH and health system. Contributes to the development and maintenance of the knowledge database relevant to planning and performance management functions, makes and implements recommendations on improving data availability and accuracy.
  • Efficiently utilizes healthcare data from multiple sources: compiles, organizes, evaluates and validates health data and record-keeping processes.
  • Supports and enhances data management and data use processes; validates and uncovers root cause data issues; maintains data dictionary, mapping rules and data lineage; establishes the processes identifying and resolving data quality issues to ensure an on-going process for data quality maintenance.
  • Analyses large and complex datasets, identifies relationships and trends in data, draws valid inferences including identification of any factors which could affect the results and findings.
  • Contributes to the development of applied analytical models, using appropriate statistical models and techniques and reporting tools, to support ad-hoc requests and standard reporting obligations and recommends improvements.
  • Assists in design, implementation and analysis of the survey data.
  • Critically evaluates statistical methods and procedures applied to data, developed evaluation and other models, obtained results for their validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Communicates effectively and presents analytical findings in a succinct and easy to understand way as per management and end-user requirements to support decision making, understand impact and sustainability of policies and plans implementation.
  • Contributes to creation of insightful reports, dashboards and analytical briefs, which monitor health system and strategy performance, achieving automation where possible.
  • Contributes to building health system intelligence with standard reporting and deep-dive analytical insights, building on quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Contributes to continuous review and improvements of information flows, existing analytical and operational reports for their usability, readability and fit-for-purpose objectives.
  • Works with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement the strategies for leveraging data to gain a deeper insight into the organization health intelligence and value-based healthcare policies.
  • Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in analytics and reporting which support efficient functioning of the Department.
  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing organizational needs.
