- Identifying and evaluating organisational risk areas to develop the annual audit plan
- Preparing detailed audit programmes tailored to each audit to ensure effective audit techniques are performed
- Conducting audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence
- Identifying, developing, and documenting audit issues & recommendations, using independent judgment concerning the areas being reviewed
- Making recommendations on ways to improve audit work processes and internal controls
- Preparing and assisting in communicating the audit results via written reports to management and the board of directors
- Assisting in staff development through training, mentoring, and providing guidance on audit procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, or similar field
- 4-5 years' experience in internal auditing
- Holding certifications in one or more of the following: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Strong background of working in Qatar
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Arabic
