Our mechanical Engineering Team uses cutting-edge technology to design gas and steam turbines, compressors and expanders.Partner with the bestThe Machinist will work with respective cell leader of the Qatar Service Center to make sure all company standards and Organizational need are met.As a Machinist, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating and performing Turning, Drilling, Milling, Grinders, and Boring activities to required specifications
  • Preforming Assembly & disassembly of rotors (Gas Turbine / Compressor)
  • Selecting the use of right cutting / hand tools, processes, hand tools and equipment for right task
  • Checking machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
  • Performing dimensional and visual inspections of rotors / GT related components
  • Performing the visual dye penetrant inspection
  • Completing required documentation with accurate information such as routers / job card, labor reporting, checklist, and inspection reports.
  • Understanding measuring instruments, mechanical equipment and use of lifting tools.
  • Preventing and breakdown maintenance of machines, balancing facility and all its auxiliaries.
  • Maintaining a clean work area and contribute towards overall housekeeping efforts and other duties as needed
  • Updating digital shop systems related to assigned work (Digital Work Order, Time Vouchering, Operation completion)
  • Ensure the work area is compliance with HSE requirement and full compliance with BH Policies / Procedures

  • Have High School Certificate and related experience.
  • Have 10+ Years of relevant experience
  • Have extensive knowledge of Turning, Drilling, Boring, Milling and balancing processes
  • Have Rotor disassembly / assembly knowledge
  • Have understanding engineering drawings & specifications
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Have Knowledge CNC Milling operations is an advantage
  • Have Knowledge balancing operations is an advantage
