From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.Main Duties1. Describe the selection of beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain food & menu knowledge for items offered in the lounge; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the bartender using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner.2. Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.3. Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.4. Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables and drink stations.5. Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.6. Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.Standard DutiesTo provide a friendly and professional service that always exceeds guest’s expectations. To ensure you read the hotel's employee handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety. To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position. To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform/attire and name badge. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department personal appearance standards. To comply with local legislation as required. To maintain good working relationships with your colleagues and all other departments through working by The Golden Rule. To respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company or hotel. To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs. To attend training and meetings as and when required.
