Mahad Manpower is hiring an executive chef for a remote camp catering facility in Ras Laffan, Qatar.Executive ChefThe position requires a native Arabic speaker, offers a salary of QAR 6600 plus FAT, and includes an annual vacation.The executive chef oversees the running of an entire culinary team to quality of food and service is delivered on time and within budget.Duties & Responsibilities:On a day-to-day basis, you’ll plan, organise, and control the busy catering , ensuring a successful and efficient service. You will be responsible for recruiting and training staff, working with the kitchen team to develop the menu, ordering stock, controlling budgets, and recording income and expenses. You'll ensure the service is first-class through training and motivating the team. The executive chef will organise and supervise the team as they prepare and present foods of the highest quality. You'll ensure everyone follows strict compliance-led food handling & hygiene standards and health & safety regulations. The executive chef will ensure that team members are available for their required shifts and that there are enough staff to cover busy periods. Executive ChefDesired profile:Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management. I possess extensive experience in catering management. Managing the Budgets I am customer-focused and possess solid communication skills. Confidence in managing the of running a catering operation I have gained experience in managing nutritional and dietary requirements, which enables the business to provide optimal service to its customers. The ability to work under tight deadlines comes naturally to you. Excellent organisation skills to effectively manage your time, workload, and team You possess strong IT skills.
