Required Experience and Skills
- Prefer 10+ years work experience in reservoir engineering activities.
- Experience in key project development phases (Viability, Concept Select, Pre-FEED, FEED, etc.)
- Good experience in constructing numerical reservoir simulation models (black-oil and compositional), model initialization, history matching, running sensitivities and predictions.
- Experience in transient well test design and interpretation, material balance modelling and performance prediction.
- Proficiency in well planning, and economic evaluation.
- Experience with business planning process.
- Must have strong teamwork skills. Experience working in a multicultural and integrated environment is a plus. Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Must have experience in mature fracture carbonate fields under water flooding.
- Knowledge in PVT data analysis.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, less experienced staff, field staff and management.
- Must be familiar with reserves evaluation, classification and booking (SPE PRMS or SEC standards).
- Offshore mega project exposure
- Desirable to have experience in reservoir fluid sampling, fluid property modelling, routine and special core analysis.
- Desirable to have knowledge of uncertainty analysis and risk assessment/management.
- EOR experience.
- Project management certification
- Experience of developing Petroleum Eng technical standards/manuals/guidelines
- Proved record working with surface facilities / process design disciplines.
- Simulation Eclipse 100/300
- Petrel RE
- Fluid property modelling PVTi, PVTSim
- Material balance – MBAL
- Well test interpretation – Saphir
- Reservoir surveillance- OFM
- Using uncertainty software such as MEPO is a plus.
