Electrical Draftsman

- Prepare and revise electrical drawings including SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), cable routing, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, and control panel wiring diagrams using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Develop detailed drawings for LV systems, instrumentation, and automation panels used in wastewater treatment processes.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and other disciplines (mechanical, civil, ICA) to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
- Maintain up-to-date drawing registers and documentation in accordance with project standards and QA procedures.
- Incorporate revisions and comments from consultants, engineers, and site feedback into updated drawing sets.
- Support as-built documentation preparation after project execution.
- Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTOs) and BOQs based on electrical drawings.
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of drafting experience in electrical systems, preferably in wastewater treatment or industrial plant projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D is a plus), and familiarity with relevant drafting standards.
- Good understanding of electrical symbols, panel layouts, instrumentation connections, and cable scheduling.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, technical specifications, and site inputs.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple revisions efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic electrical codes and practices (IEC, NEC, etc.).
