Fully bilingual.SpecificationThe purpose of this role is to perform routine technical procedures in respective treatment area and undertake the daily maintenance and disinfection of the dialysis equipment and apply quality assurance measures as directed by the division head or the technologist.Key Accountabilities:1. Setting up and preparing the dialysis machines for haemodialysis.2. Fixing and priming the extracorporeal circuit and initiating the dialysis.3. Sets the machine for the termination of the treatment and disinfect the machines after each treatment.4. Coordinate in the preparation of buffer solution and special buffers as per the Physician's order.5. Setting up and preparing the machines for CRRT in the critical areas.6. Setting up the haemodialysis machines and portable water treatment unit for bedside dialysis.7. Monitoring of the water treatment plant in the unit.8. Coordinates in the sampling for water analysis.9. Assists in the disinfection of water treatment plant.10. Performs on call duties or the duties in satellite centres and home care independently in the capacity of dialysis technician as per the unit’s needs.11. Calculate the urea reduction ratio for the adequacy of the delivered dose.12.
