1. This position will require traveling between venues / depots during normal and or outside office hours for the site - work such as configurations, installations, inspections and any site related works.
2. This position requires mobile communication outside normal office hours for emergency purposes.Key Responsibilities / Tasks (but not limited to):
1. Conduct Site surveys and Inspection for the metering works, customer meter numbers, application numbers, customer location, meter data on site, meter and cabinet status, sources of supply, availability, checking meter working condition and taking photos of meters etc.2.Coordinate with customer to access the location, making appointment with customers or contractor for inspection, find the meter belonging to the right customer for mismatch cases, using technical tester or tools to connect the meter to get data, verification of meter associated battery, cable, display, reading, accuracy test, reset, configuration, monitoring meter operation etc.
3. Provide report with trouble shooting, reason of fault, fix the fault, reporting etc. of all kinds and size of meter (Electricity) for any location in Qatar as per Kahramaa’s instruction and as per Kahramaa reporting format.
4. Installation and replacements of all kinds and sizes of meters (Electricity meters) in any location of Qatar as per Kahramaa's instruction and guideline.
5. Prepare Reports and shall be submitted as per Kahramaa’s requirement.
6. Conduct Inspection, accuracy test, Site surveys, Installation and Replacement of Electricity Meter in any location in Qatar as per CWRs and Kahramaa standards
7. Check the operation of the meter and ensure supply to customer.
8. Perform technical inspection to DC/CT meters by checking meter configuration, meter parameter files, etc, and take the necessary action and to provide reports as per Kahramaa requirements.
9. Perform random site inspections for the meters installed at site.
10. Full knowledge of all the needed techniques and procedures for repairing all electricity meters.
11. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
