On behalf of our client Premium Solutions Consultancy is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer on behalf of a reputable client in Qatar. This role is essential in managing the procurement processes and ensuring a reliable supply chain for construction projects.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors based on quality, price, delivery time, and service.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Coordinate with project managers to understand material requirements and timelines.
Monitor stock levels and oversee inventory management to prevent shortages.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in procurement activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of the local market and supplier landscape in Qatar is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
