Job Description:Primary Purpose of the JobQatarEnergy is seeking a highly experienced Sr. Principal Engineer (Process) to join our LNG Expansion team. This strategic role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, asset performance, and sustainability across our LNG joint venture assets. You will be instrumental in influencing JV operators, optimizing energy efficiency, and ensuring the integrity and reliability of multi-billion-dollar facilities.Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and benchmark LNG JV asset performance to identify and drive improvements in energy efficiency, product yields, and cost optimization.
  • Support asset governance and strategy development, ensuring alignment with QatarEnergy’s long-term objectives.
  • Provide technical input during design, commissioning, and start-up phases of LNG expansion projects to ensure operational excellence.
  • Lead performance analysis, audits, and reporting validation to ensure compliance with internal and international standards.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 10 years in oil & gas/midstream industries, with at least 5 years in LNG operations/engineering.
  • Deep technical knowledge in process engineering, safety, integration, control, and modelling.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office.
