- Development of sub-strategies as required to support the implementation of the overall QU Health Sector'sstrategy.
- Manages and provide follow-up on the overall implementation plan for QU Health, coordinating withstakeholders, to ensure timely delivery in line with the educational, research and administrative requirements.
- Identifies and manages risks and issues threatening the execution of the QU Health Sector's strategy and plan forthe appropriate response; eliminating, reducing, accepting or escalating.
- Develops implementation monitoring tools with stakeholders to resolve obstacles and implementation issues.
- Oversees the effective and continuous monitoring of QU's performance against pre-set performance goals andensures that progress is made in the desirable direction and preventive/ corrective actions are taken accordingly.
- Guides the establishment and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure they measure QU HealthSector's performance through a clear system.
- Guides colleges and offices in establishing operational and strategic plans and a methodology for translating QU'sstrategic priorities to specific, measurable and realistic goals and targets.
- Oversees that all colleges/offices' operational plans are consolidated into a master plan.
- Works closely with the Engagement and Communications office for the development and implementation of theQU Health' branding strategy.
- Conducts performance appraisals for subordinates as appropriate according to scheduled plans and recommendactions as per applied Human Resources policies.
- Supports in identifying staff training needs and planning for appropriate trainings to be provided in a timely manner.
- Performs other tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role andthe aims of the university.
