Our client is seeking a talented Interior Design Assistant to join our growing team in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of QAR 4000 - 5000 per month. As an Interior Design Assistant, you will provide support to our senior designers in all phases of the design process, from conceptualisation to project completion. You will have the opportunity to contribute creatively to diverse projects and develop your skills within a dynamic and supportive environment.Responsibilities:
  • Assisting senior designers with the preparation of presentations, mood boards, and design concepts.
  • Sourcing and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
  • Developing and maintaining accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Conducting site visits and surveys to assess project requirements.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Maintaining sample libraries and staying up-to-date on current design trends and materials.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to design projects.
  • Contributing creative ideas and solutions to enhance design projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Must be fluent in Arabic
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, colour theory, and material selection.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for interior design.
