Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Preparation of proposals, drafting and issuing contracts, communications, database input and filing
- Preparing of month end reports and monthly forecasts.
- Identify new sources of residential accommodations / special events / group bookings / catering sales
- Achieve minimum of sales calls and site inspections per week in accordance with the business plan.
- Lead generation and setting up new business sales calls/appointments
- Communicate and follow through with other hotel departments to ensure that the sales commitment is being fulfilled
- Obtain market intelligence and information gathering of benefit to the hotel.
- Comply with and ensure adherence to all of the hotel's policies and procedures
- Maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues throughout the hotel and sister properties
- Develop methods and initiatives to increase departmental revenue within the sales team
- Communicate effectively with all other departments
- Attend all meetings and/or training sessions as required.
- Identify opportunities to innovate service delivery and product offering to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Proven track record in challenging market
- Basic Salary: QAR 10,000 Monthly
- Accommodation Allowance: QAR 9,000 Monthly
- Transportation Allowance: QAR 750 Monthly
- Business Transportation Allowance: QAR 750 Monthly
- Phone Allowance: QAR 150 Monthly
