Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Qatar

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable server & storage architectures aligned with business objectives
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive system architecture diagrams, documentation, and standards
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining server and storage uptime, performing routine audits, security checks, and proactive maintenance
• Developing and implementing automated monitoring tools and processes to minimise downtime
• Design and implementing virtualisation solutions (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), ensuring seamless integration
• Optimising virtualised environments for performance, scalability, and resource utilisation
• Implementing robust system security measures (access controls, encryption) safeguarding against cyber threats and data breaches

• 7 years' minimum experience in system engineering, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar subject
• Strong experience in CompTIA Server+ or VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), ITIL Foundation or equivalent
• Excellent skills in system architecture and design, virtualisation, and cloud computing, troubleshooting and problem solving
• Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, with any Arabic language skills an advantage
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be preferred
