Primary Purpose of the Job:To lead and supervise the planning and execution of QatarEnergy’s Financial & Planning, Marketing, LNG trading related services and Support Functions audits in accordance with the Department's approved audit plan, within budget and in accordance with Audit Manual and International Internal Auditing Standards. Required Experience and Skills:Has a minimum of 10 years internal auditing experience, including 5 years in energy trading and marketing experience.Has in depth understanding of global energy trading and marketing regulations, standards and best practices with strong analytical skills required to identify and to resolve key business issues.Experienced Internal Audit professional with expertise in corporate governance, risk management and business control practices.Preferably has specialist expertise that supports his advisory role, such as in finance, economic modelling, risk management or project management.Has a sound understanding of ERM principles and philosophy.Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to successfully engage Managers in discussion on key issues and the need for change. Educational Qualifications:A Bachelors Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent.Valid membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners etc.) is desirable.Accounting or Auditing certification is beneficial.
