  • Responsible for maintaining an acceptable gross profit, proper inventory management and operations reporting of store activities.
  • Responsible for achieving a greater sales increase over the previous year in sales.
  • Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties.
  • Contains the losses of their unit by keeping inventory shrinkage.
  • Ensure all reports, such as purchase, inventory, and sales, are accurate and timely available.
  • Monitor and maintain proper store cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance
  • Supervise employees engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records and preparing daily record of transactions or performs work or subordinates, as needed.
  • Ensures compliance of employees with security, sales
  • Orders goods or prepares requisitions to replenish goods on hand.
  • Monitor and verify vendor activity in store.
  • Ensure all store employees are trained properly.
  • Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares, or directs workers preparing, goods display and advertising copy.
  • Perform banking functions such as cash counting and deposit.
  • Inventory control-record all purchases at retail and compare to the physical counts on premise. Perform all shift duties as required, (i.e.) run the cash register.
Qualifications:
  • Must be Native Arabic Speaker
  • Bachelor's Degree / Higher Diploma
  • A Min 05-06 years of professional experience working as a Store Manager / Branch Manager, managing a Supermarket or Hypermarket
  • Excellent knowledge in all sales and management of all section in the Store - Fresh, Non Fresh, FMCG
  • Working knowledge in the GCC countries is a must
Skills:
  • General knowledge of computer programs relevant to the departmental requirements including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point Presentation, etc.).
  • Excellent reading, writing, speaking and presentation skills in English & Arabic Language.
