
Site Engineer (Electrical)

- Oversee electrical construction activities, including the installation and commissioning of electrical systems for pump stations, sewage treatment plants, and other infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure that electrical work progresses according to the project schedule and specifications.
- Supervise electrical installations, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and local codes.
- Inspect and test electrical systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and safety standards before handover.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and installation of electrical equipment and materials.
- Monitor work progress, taking corrective actions where necessary to prevent delays or quality issues.
- Ensure safety compliance for electrical works, ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
- Document electrical works, including testing results, progress reports, and other project-related documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction supervision, including at least 5 years in a consulting environment on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience with electrical design and review, particularly for sewage treatment works, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and electrical design software.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and documentation skills.
- MME is required.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage electrical teams on-site.
- Proficiency with electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar software).
- Experience working with high-voltage equipment, including 3.3 kV motors, MCC, and VFDs.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues on-site.
- Experience in project commissioning and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing).
- Familiarity with local and international electrical standards and codes.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
