
Senior Electrical Engineer

- Design low-voltage systems, including power distribution, emergency supplies, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and cable management, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Design extra-low voltage systems, such as data networks, voice networks, fire alarms, public address systems, access control, intrusion alarms, IPTV, intercom, and have good knowledge in specialized software for heat map, audio, and CCTV FOV simulation.
- Develop infrastructure plans, with an emphasis on dry utility networks, including medium, low, and extra-low voltage networks.
- Collaborate with the electrical team and other departments throughout project phases, including concept design, schematic design, and detailed design stages.
- Perform power system analysis, including tasks such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability, protection coordination, harmonic analysis, arc flash, and equipment sizing.
- Handle several electrical design tasks for multiple projects.
- Design and analyze electrical systems for various projects, demonstrating proficiency with essential engineering software tools, including ETAP, CAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux Evo, Relux, AGi32, StrikeRisk, PVsyst, and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably with a focus on Middle East projects.
- In-depth knowledge of local regulations and authority requirements.
- Familiarity with electrical load calculations, power distribution, voltage drop analysis, and cable sizing.
- Proficient in using electrical engineering software tools for analysis and design.
- Strong understanding of lighting systems, small power distribution, cable routing, earthing, and lightning protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
- Deals with less routine technical or operational problems with limited supervision and may solve moderately difficult problems that are not immediately evident and require some guidance from a more senior team member. Draws on technical knowledge and experience and information / specification received to develop the most effective and efficient solution for less standard or routine problems with a prescribed outcome.
