Senior HVAC Design Engineer (FEED/Detailed Engineering)Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Client: One of the leading Oil & Gas consultants in QatarRole SummaryLooking for a Senior HVAC Engineer with 12+ years of consultant-level design experience, focused on HVAC engineering design solutions for oil & gas projects in FEED and detailed engineering stages only.Responsibilities

Perform detailed heating/cooling load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, HVAC equipment selection and specification
Prepare and review HVAC design drawings, layout plans, and calculation reports for oil & gas facilities
Develop technical specifications and design documentation for tender and project execution phases
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design outputs
Review contractor/supplier submittals, drawings, and ensure compliance with design intent
Adhere to QCS, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and other relevant HVAC design codes and standards
Participate actively in technical design reviews and project coordination meetings

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Minimum 12 years+ experience in consultant engineering firms with a strong design focus in oil & gas projects
Expertise in HVAC design tools such as HAP, AutoCAD, and Revit
Excellent understanding of local Qatar codes and international HVAC standards
MMUP/UPDA or equivalent certification preferred
