Job DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Consultant / DBA to manage our applications/ SQL Servers. You will be responsible for technical solution design, development, customization, integration, and support of D365 Finance and operations, ERP system across diverse domains including Property Management, Hospitality, Agriculture, Retail, and e-Commerce.This role also encompasses database management, system troubleshooting, and project execution across related technologies, ensuring optimal performance and security of enterprise systems.Key ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft D365 Finance &Operations Technical Consultant
  • Design and develop technical solutions, customizations, workflows, extensions, and integrations in D365 F&O using Power Platform, Logic Apps, and .NET.
  • Develop custom SSRS reports and integrations using Data Entities, OData, and REST APIs.
  • Manage lifecycle services (LCS), deploy packages, and handle environment configuration.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Debug and troubleshoot database issues/D365 F&O system issues.
  • Implement and maintain batch jobs, workflows, and role-based security models.
  • Perform data migration using Data Management Framework (DMF), staging tables, and custom logic.
  • Support UAT, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Ensure performance optimization and adhere to best practices in development and deployment.
Database Administration & Management
  • Manage and maintain MS SQL Server databases (backup, recovery, security, high availability).
  • Optimize performance using SQL Profiler, indexing, and query tuning.
  • Implement and monitor disaster recovery solutions and failover clustering.
  • Develop stored procedures, triggers, and advanced SQL queries.
  • Maintain BI environment with Power BI, SSIS, and SSRS.
Application Development & Integration
  • Develop custom applications using C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Integrate APIs (REST/JSON/XML) with D365 or third-party systems (payment gateways, logistics).
  • Manage CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal) and mobile apps (React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, Swift).
Project Implementation
  • Support IT implementation projects, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Manage vendor coordination, SLA compliance, and stakeholder communications.
  • Analyze business requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer to support teams.
Industry-Specific Solutions
  • Property / Hospitality / Real Estate: Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS), CRMs, and ERPs.
  • Agriculture: Knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and agribusiness operations.
  • e-Commerce: Understanding of payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, CyberSource, QPAY), order processing, and security protocols.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Provide Level 2/3 support for D365 F&O, integrations, and backend systems.
  • Investigate and resolve issues in D365 workflows, batch jobs, reports, and customizations.
  • Monitor system logs and ensure uptime, performance, and application health.
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical development of Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), SSRS.
  • Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, integrations, and Data Management Framework.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer or Azure Database Administrator.
