CAD Technician

- Preparing detailed and accurate drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software.
- Supporting engineering teams by converting conceptual designs and sketches into technical drawings.
- Reviewing and modifying existing drawings to reflect design changes and project updates.
- Coordinating with site teams to ensure that drawings align with actual site conditions and construction progress.
- Ensuring all drawings are prepared in accordance with client standards and project specifications.
- Maintaining organized drawing records and ensuring updated versions are readily available.
- Assisting in the preparation of construction documentation, layouts, and as-built drawings.
- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines to produce accurate and coordinated technical drawings.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering from an accredited institution, subject to approval by the Engineer.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in drafting for construction projects.
- At least 5 years of experience working on environment firm construction sites, with a strong understanding of site practices.
- Proficient in using AutoCAD and other computer-aided design tools.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to work with various design software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawing preparation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset when faced with design or technical challenges.
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in a construction environment.
