books. Translation from English to Modern Standard Arabic or vice versa ensuring meaning and
context is maintained. To liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Convert written material from source language into the target language - English to

Modern Standard Arabic or vice versa. Content material includes, but not limited to,
text for exhibition guides and books. * Proofread and edit working drafts and final translated versions.

Retain and develop knowledge in specialist areas of translation - culture, art history,

museum interpretation, etc. * Set project priorities and schedules.

Develop glossary with exhibition, museum, art and culture terminology in Modern

Standard Arabic. * Contribute to the development of the translation style-guide in alignment with otherdepartments/museums. * Closely liaise between departments to ensure consistency and relevance of all contentrelated to publications.
