- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and dietary needs with professionalism and courtesy
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar efficiently
- Ensure timely and correct delivery of food and beverages to guests
- Set up and maintain clean, organized, and well-presented tables and dining areas
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guests have finished
- Monitor tables and attend to any guest needs promptly
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, with adherence to hotel standards and regulations
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including wine pairings and cocktail ingredients
- Ensure that all food and beverages are served at the correct temperature and presentation
- Address any issues or complaints from guests promptly, seeking assistance from supervisors when necessary
- Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other attendants to ensure seamless service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
- Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and notify management of any shortages
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene practices
- Follow hotel policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol service and guest privacy
- Promote and upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Inform guests of any special offers, menu changes, or upcoming events
