- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to meet production demands.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs and plan accordingly.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize storage space and streamline inventory flow.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and returns.
- Oversee the handling and storage of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and supervise inventory staff, providing guidance on best practices and procedures.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, performance metrics, and recommendations for process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 8 to 15 years of proven experience in inventory control within the metals manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and drive results.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to handling hazardous materials.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
