Course Assistant 4

Responsibilities:

Classroom Support: Assist the professor with in-class activities, including group discussions, media analysis exercises, and technology setup.
Schedule equipment booking and prop room access with Production
Basic Camera Operating in class
Assist students with basic filming (if needed)
Scheduling and coordinating student projects and timing student presentations
Assist in keeping records of student attendance
Scanning, photocopying, and uploading course materials to Canvas
Arrive 30 minutes early to setup classroom
Ensure students return props and tidy up after class
Dedicate 1 extra hour per week to meet with Instructor (may be remote)
Provide feedback to Instructor on Course Development and Assessment based on previous experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to multitask, initiate and follow-through on projects, plan ahead, and manage time.
Completed camera training
Knowledge of CANVAS
Capacity to work professionally with peers
