Join us.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Site Inspector - Mechanical to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical systems and equipment on construction sites.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, equipment, and installations on construction sites
  • Verify compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards
  • Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
  • Identify and report deficiencies, non-conformances, and potential issues
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure adherence to quality control processes and safety protocols
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as needed
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical site inspection or related field
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction processes
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, API)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and techniques
  • Experience with quality control processes in the construction industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work on-site in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different project sites in Doha
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ASME, API) are preferred
