Humanities teacher

• Facilitate engaging and interactive lessons in History, Geography, and Religious Studies to students aged 11-18.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school's teaching philosophy.
• Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, diversity, and academic excellence.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects and events.
• Participate in school-wide events and initiatives, including extracurricular activities and parent-teacher conferences.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Humanities or related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level, with a track record of student academic success.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current teaching practises.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity.
• Enthusiastic and dedicated to continuously improving teaching practises and student learning outcomes.
