Job SummaryResponsible for ensuring the successful planning, manages, executes, completes and handover multiple MEP projects related to energy efficiency, energy performance contracts and retrofits for large hotel projects, high rise towers, and other commercial facilities. The key responsibilities include ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety using internal staff, as well as sub-contractors and sub-consultants. Delivery of high-quality, turn-key energy efficiency and renewable energy projects both in office and on site.Job Responsibilities 1Principal Accountabilities

Ensures the project is completed on scheduled programme, with minimum cost expenditure, maximum value recovery, and safe working environment and at the same time provides clients with a quality product.
Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with Conditions of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ

Job Responsibilities 2

Ensures that all specifications and authority regulations as shown on drawings indicated to in the technical submittals are followed on site.
Reports to client, consultant and main contractor about work progress and any necessary modifications required on site.
Attends different meetings as required.
Submits work progress reports to Operations Director on monthly basis.
Supervises all MEP Subcontractors.
Liaises with Client/Consultant for Material Approval and Site Installation Approval.
Coordinates the work of subcontractors working during the project.
Liaises with main contractor and other subcontractors working on different phases of the project.
Tracks all related Bid Summary, RFQ, LPO, PDC, L/C, etc.
Supervises the construction team during different construction phases and to correct deficiencies if found.
Monitors and controls work progress to complete within time and resources allocated.
Applies engineering principles during the different project phases.

Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of laws and regulations governing large construction projects

In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques and concepts

In-depth knowledge of Building Codes

Knowledge of building systems, energy technologies, green building and high performance design

Understanding of marketing strategy and market analysis techniques is a strong plus

Knowledge of energy efficiency, performance contracting, commissioning, BIM or green building is a strong plus

Knowledge of MEP construction (electrical and controls)

In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing techniques

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
