Responsibilities:Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Project Expert, seconded to our Client from government sector in Doha, Qatar.You will be responsible for overseeing Beautification committee Projects and ensuring governance, technical excellence, and strategic delivery in line with the Client’s policies, processes, procedures, and overall master plan.We envisage success in this role to include;
Overseeing Beautification Committee projects in accordance with Client policies, procedures, and master plan.
Monitoring and managing GEC contracts, including performance, budgets, payments, change requests, and claims.
Reviewing and approving project plans, construction management plans, and engineering deliverables.
Identifying, assessing, and resolving project delivery risks, delays, and technical issues.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and Client requirements across all projects.
Collaborating with internal departments and external authorities (e.g., MOTC, Kahramaa) to resolve technical challenges.
Tracking project progress against baselines and ensuring alignment with master programme objectives.
Reviewing and providing recommendations on design, construction, and operational aspects of projects.
Monitoring GEC programme delivery, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, and safety standards.
Evaluating and approving GEC change requests, claims, and technical submissions.
Advising on technical solutions and corrective actions to optimize project delivery.
Overseeing integration of multiple projects within the Beautification Committee programme.
Conducting technical reviews of construction, design, and planning documentation to ensure compliance with Client requirements.
Providing guidance on risk mitigation, project controls, and quality assurance to ensure successful project execution.
Supporting team performance and development by providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to section staff as required.
Participating in meetings with stakeholders to address project challenges, delays, and strategic alignment issues.
Ensuring lessons learned and best practices are documented and applied across all projects for continuous improvement. Qualifications:To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15+ years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years managing large-scale infrastructure, landscaping, or building programmes, partnered with University degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Programme Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.Minimum 7 years’ experience in developed countries (North America, Western Europe, UK, Australia, New Zealand) or GCC.Minimum 7 years in roles similar to the Senior Project Expert position.Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, written and spoken.Preferably with prior working experience in Qatar and/or the Gulf region, ideally on the Client-side.Highly desirable to hold Chartership, license, or professional certification from an internationally recognized professional institution or organization.KEO’s performance is founded upon integrity, results, innovation, safety and our people.
