OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for an AOR-Wide Communications Engineer. This position will be located in AUAB, Qatar and will be an on-site position.ResponsibilitiesProvide AOR wide engineering support. The contractor shall:

Design, produce and implement IT solutions to integrate systems into AFCENT enterprise;
Troubleshoot, and optimize theater communications systems;
Research current and emergent technologies;
Provide analysis on technical specifications, limitations, potential implementation, and recommended courses of action.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
Clearance Required: Secret
Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering from an accredited university
10 years’ practical experience in support of communications electronic systems or equipment; have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, understand IP routing and architecture design, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks
6 years’ engineering experience in: information technology; IP Network Design and Architecture Development; RF Communication
Satellite Communications; Telecommunications; Tech Control; Command & Control (C2) System
5 years’ experience in military communication systems

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.Posted Salary RangeUSD $94,000.00 - USD $126,000.00 /Yr.
