Job Type: Full-timeWhat You'll Do
- Manage fleet deferred defects, ensuring updates meet quality standards before due dates
- Provide troubleshooting recommendations based on technical documentation reviews and reflect findings in TSR/DDs to support technical production
- Conduct analysis of recurrent defects and develop solutions to prevent repeat occurrences
- Monitor fleet defects via OEM health monitoring platforms (AHM and SHM) and recommend timely rectifications through TSR
- Manage components on hold in line with company policies and procedures
- Support Fleet Manager with technical reports and operational data as required
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, planning, and MOCC to initiate CRMs, maintenance slot requests, and component swaps where needed
- Offer on-demand technical guidance to production teams during Doha AOG and OOS events
- Participate in daily operational meetings, including delay defect review sessions
- Ensure compliance with legislative and company procedures to maintain airworthiness and achieve operational targets
- Adhere to the Company Safety Management System
- Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Department
- High school, vocational diploma, or equivalent with minimum 5 years of job-related experience, OR bachelor's degree with minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- Minimum 5 years certifying experience
- Degree or equivalent diploma/license in Aircraft Maintenance
- Minimum 2 type authorizations in Qatar Airways fleet
- QCAA B1 or B2 license
- Strong knowledge of company and regulatory procedures
