Job Description:Primary Purpose of the JobManages with all QATARENERGY/non-QATARENERGY Upstream & Downstream Units including local industries, the integrated shutdown procedures for shutdown activities in the short- and long-term requirement. Evaluates / coordinates with the suppliers/consumers the different shutdown scenarios to ensure targets/objectives are met in the most efficient economical ways. Coordinates and reviews complete shutdown program during emergency shutdown of any of QATARENERGY upstream & downstream units including consumers.Details study and inputs to QATARENERGY Business Plan, corporate business and planning option documents. Coordinates the preparation of Area Business Plan documents for Transmission and Distribution Department and Planning Week Presentation.Studies and provides inputs to a variety of gas consumer contracts, general agreements for technical inputs and feedstock/fuel gas/product specification requirements in coordination with Legal/Marketing/Finance and other relevant departments.Review all production and export daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports for Transmission and Distribution Department are issued and provides inputs to higher management monthly reports (VO & OM Reports). Reviews and generates performance monitoring report, target and objective reports.
Required Experience and Skills10 years’ experience in oil and gas or petrochemicals industries in the areas of measurement, allocation, operations, planning, scheduling, commercial, processing or engineering.Hand-on working knowledge in Hydrocarbon Accounting or Planning and Scheduling in the energy sector. Proficient in providing technical support in one Hydrocarbon metering systems for Planning and scheduling tool for the oil and gas sector.
Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in engineering.Technical and information sharing skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Computer literate, expert in Microsoft packagesCompetent in presentation and database systems.
