Deputy Director of Operations (for a government facility in Qatar)

• Responsible for directing and coordinating the daily operations of the Fire Station, including security, facilities management, studios, galleries, and visitor services.
• Provide training and support for all operational team members at the Fire Station.
• Manages inventory, database and reports conducted by each operational section.
• Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the Fire Station.
• Liaising with departmental heads to develop overall plans and ensure Fire Station-wide operational compliance.
• Responsible for integration between the Fire Station and all QM departments to ensure alignment between the Fire Station's requirements and the building/operational planning This includes interfacing with all QM's departments in the development and maintenance of strong operational frameworks for the operations of the Fire Station as well as coordination with health, safety, maintenance, visitor services, to ensure that the Fire Station and services offered through the centre are aligned with the focus and requirements of the Fire Station.
• Responsible for Fire Station event operations and technical staff, in coordination with the concerned centralized QM departments.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the HVAC, security, fire alarm systems and firefighting; audio systems, lighting systems, all MEP building maintenance and repairs, landscape maintenance and fountains, in coordination with the concerned centralized QM departments.
• Oversee capital expenditure in relation to the Fire Station building and operational assets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Responsible for the Fire Station's Health & Safety, ensuring policies are in place and understood and that procedures are followed by all staff.
• Responsible for delivering a Business Continuity plan for the Fire Station's existing operations.
• Oversees the facilities management of the retail shop and café in coordination In-Q Department.
• Oversee the performance and integration of new operational systems.
• Advise on space allocation between Fire Station activities.
