Finance Analyst - Regional Budgeting and Financial Reporting (UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Subsea)Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Finance Analyst to support monthly financial reporting, revenue assurance, budgeting, and forecasting across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Subsea business units. This role plays a key part in preparing income statements, managing fixed assets, and supporting audits in alignment with group financial policies. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly income statements with variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with customer contracts and eliminate unbilled revenue
  • Review contract handover summaries to identify all revenue elements and clarify ambiguities with stakeholders
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules with reconciliation of key accounts including fixed assets, accruals, and receivables
  • Maintain the fixed asset register, post capitalization entries, and run monthly depreciation cycles
  • Manage inter-region fixed asset transfers and ensure correct accounting treatment
  • Prepare and upload financial data to group tools (FDM, web forms)
  • Lead vessel-wise budgeting and forecasting across UAE, Qatar, Saudi, and Subsea operations
  • Collaborate with business unit heads and operations teams to gather data for budget finalization
  • Ensure accurate upload of approved budgets and forecasts to internal financial systems
  • Liaise with Saudi external audit and tax teams, ensuring successful closure of annual financial audits and returns
  • Support group auditors with financial data and explanations for consolidated reporting
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of income statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Experience managing fixed assets, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems (FDM, Oracle, or SAP preferred)
  • Prior experience coordinating multi-country budgets and forecasts is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of audit processes and regulatory financial reporting in Saudi Arabia is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for effective cross-department collaboration
