Data Center Group Information Technology team oversees Data Center Companies' (DCCo) IT services, planning, operations support and budgeting to ensure alignment with technology and deployment roadmaps.The purpose of this role is to provide Design, implementation and operations support in Data Centre Information Technology Domain (IT & Network Applications, Cloud, and Digital Platforms).Accountabilities:Subject Matter expert in Next Generation Data Centre technologies with Design/Built/Operate expertise in following domains:DC Network & Security ( LAN/WAN, network/application security) - Cisco ACI, VMware NSX and other leading SDN technologies. Fortinet and Palo Alto NGFWs with appliances and NVA deployment expertiseIT Enterprise Applications - (OSS/BSS stack with Cloud SaaS deployment expertise)Digital Workplace & Office Automation -(Microsoft AD, Azure AD & M365 based services)Centralized Digital Platforms - Next gen Digital platform deployment using Openshift, AKS, GKE & TANZU technologies.Data Centre DCIM, BMS & ELV platforms Network Design/integration (Modbus & equivalent)Cybersecurity - Overall Network and application security (Firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, EDR/MDR/XDR, SASE & SIEM - Cloud based deployment model - MS- Sentinel/Google Chronicle, preferred)Data Centre Certification standards - UTI Tier3/Tier4, TIA/EIA 942, ISO 27001, ISO 22301ITSM framework with experience in Change/incident/Problem Management processesNetwork and application observability stack - Tools like Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamicsSME on developing Technology roadmaps, architecture blueprints and engineering practices covering core commercial Data centre technology domainsClosely collaborate with other members of the Operations team to drive overall vision, technology road maps, world-class network architectures, and enable capital efficient IT & Network plans.Transfer best-practice solutions planning and design techniques to the DCCOs.Develop strategic relationships with key Technology vendors.Provide expertise in Information Technologies covering strategy, planning & operations.Participate in reviewing DCCOs strategic plans and budgets as a technical expert (participate in development also if requested)Support DCCOs in resolving Information Technology related issues, as required, and as per the defined framework.Experience:Minimum Experience & Essential KnowledgeMinimum 5-7 years of experience in similar role with a leading Tier3/Tier4 Data Centre provider or CSP'sExperience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.Vast experience with Information Technology, including current state-of-the-art solutions and industry trends.Experience in developing and implementing IT strategies.Experience in driving decisions in a matrix organization structureMandatory Certifications - CCIE, Fortinet NSE, MS Azure & Google GCP IAAS/PAAS & security certificationsKnowledge and experience in systems integration techniques, system engineering, systems management, and KPI reportingStrong understanding of technology trends, best practices, and management of technology innovation operationsQualifications:Minimum Entry QualificationsEngineering/Computer Science degree or relevant demonstrable and proven experienceHands on Experience in Telecom IT, Cloud Technologies, and Integration platforms.International experience, preferably in the MENA region.
