ResponsibilitiesV2X is seeking qualified Chiller Mechanic candidates to join our pipeline for opportunities supporting critical operations in Doha, Qatar. The Chiller Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of large industrial and commercial chiller systems to ensure mission-critical climate control and facility operations.Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, and repair of water-cooled and air-cooled chiller systems.Diagnose and correct mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related malfunctions.Overhaul compressors, pumps, condensers, and evaporators as needed.Monitor chiller plant operations, record operational data, and ensure systems meet performance standards.Comply with safety, environmental, and government regulations for refrigerant handling.Provide technical support to other HVAC technicians and facility staff as required.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required.Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience working with industrial/commercial chillers and HVAC systems.Certification: EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification or equivalent. Factory training on Trane, Carrier, York, or similar systems preferred.Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training in chiller operations a plus.Skills: Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, controls, and diagnostics; ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals.Other: Must be medically and physically fit to deploy to austere environments.Preferred Qualifications:Prior overseas contracting or military base operations support experience.Knowledge of DoD, AFCAP, or BOS contract environments.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Compensation & Benefits:V2X offers competitive compensation packages for OCONUS assignments, including:Base housing providedShared vehicle for work-related transportMeals includedTravel and deployment supportComprehensive benefits packageWe are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
