Job SummaryThe Hair Transplant Technician performs specialized technical tasks to support hair restoration procedures, including follicular unit extraction (FUE), follicular unit transplantation (FUT), and graft implantation. The role ensures precision, safety, and efficiency throughout the procedure while maintaining a sterile and patient-centered environment. The technician works closely with the medical team to deliver high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.Job Responsibilities 1Prepares the surgical room and instruments in compliance with sterilization and procedural protocols.Assists in patient preparation, including scalp cleaning, local anesthesia support, and positioning.Performs or supports graft extraction using FUE or FUT techniques under clinical supervision.Dissects and sorts grafts under a microscope based on follicular unit count and quality.Implants grafts into recipient areas with precision, ensuring correct angle, depth, and density.Provides intraoperative support to the hair transplant surgeon throughout the procedure.Guides patients on pre-operative instructions and post-operative care and recovery steps.Maintains a sterile field, follows infection control practices, and ensures patient safety.Keeps accurate procedural records and updates patient charts as required.Monitors, maintains, and prepares equipment and consumables used during the procedure.Job Responsibilities 2Additional Responsibilities 3Job Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of hair transplant techniques, tools, and procedures (FUE, FUT, DHI).Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for graft handling and implantation.Knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection control standards, and patient care protocols.Effective communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment.ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role (this point to be available for all roles that have SAP access)Job ExperienceMinimum 1 year working experience/relevant experience, GCC experience is a plusCompetenciesAccountabilityCollaborationLeadershipPatient Assessment and Treatment Planning L1Patient Care L1Patient Positioning and Comfort L1Patient Safety and Risk Management L1Patient Satisfaction and Customer Service L1QualityResilienceEducationBachelor's Degree in Nursing or any related fieldProfessional Qualification in Technical/Any vocational training courses or any Related Technical Certificates
