timetables;
d. Efficient time management and self-organization;
e. Setting milestones for projects and following them up to completion;
f. Communicate progress, risks and issues clearly, confidently and accurately to managers in writing and orally;
g. Manage knowledge through control of files and documents of all projects, meetings, agreements, and to-do lists within their area; and
h. Respect for cultural diversity.Specific Requirements by Role:
- Create long-term and short-term project plans, in accordance with established best project management discipline and practice, in response to Planning Section requirements, including the setting of targets and milestones;
- Manage adherence to project deadlines and mitigating risk of delay and over-runs;
- Coordinate with relevant executives and managers to delegate specific tasks to them for implementation;
- Apply informed judgment to project decisions when faced with a range of options for progress;
- Act as an authoritative point of contact for project stakeholders from across the organizations participating in project execution;
- Brief the PMO leadership and key stakeholders in project progress, risks and issues and providing advice on the mitigation of risk of delay;
- Ensure that projects remain carefully focused on, and aligned with, the set objectives;
- Exercise quality control over the project from inception to completion.
- Expected Experienced Project Manager Duties:
o Manage the quality database of all the projects.
o Design evaluation surveys and contribute to contractor selection processes.
o Assist building or strengthening national capacity for data management, data monitoring and evaluation of data.
o Coordinate the preparation, review and posting of all project reports and specifically the performance indicator project
o Support in evaluation and documentation of qualitative and quantitative performance measures.
o Ensure projects are in full compliance with Performance standards, relevant norms and policies.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for all monitoring related work.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
