Travel Services Officer

• The job holder will support all business travel activities of Company staff and delegations visiting the company. This will include travel (inbound outbound) and hotel booking (excluding Doha) of Company staff and Company invited delegations as per business requirements of the committee

• Plan & support Outbound “Travel Services” as per Company policies and procedures and as directed by the Company management for outbound requests (outside Qatar) and for the following Company different client groups:
• Company Management
• Staff and Company

• Ensure Service Level Agreements are met with different airlines, air ticketing agents, hotels, hospitality providers, travel insurance companies, etc. for optimum cost and or quality benefit to Company.
• Perform timely and effective arrangements in place for arranging air tickets, hotel reservations and booking other modes of transportation in countries that Company delegation is visiting.
• Coordinate travel requirements of visitors and events organized by Company.
• Monitor travel activities to ensure provision of the most cost effective services in accordance with Company travel policy.
• Provide yearly fares from Qatar Airways - Government Tariff department for the purpose of Company Payroll to disburse air ticket entitlement.
• Maintain travellers' data - valid passport copy - flight and accommodation preferences - Memberships' numbers.
• Maintain travel and accommodation records for all Company travel activity and expenditures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor directly related or relevant to the job
• Ensure the assigned responsibilities are delivered:
• to a high standard of quality and timeliness
• in full compliance with the Company Quality Policy and the Safety and Security rules and requirements in line with any standards and objectives designated in the Employee Performance Management system
