Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets

• Maintain up-to-date billing system,
• Supervise and assist in data cleansing,
• Maintain accounts receivable customers' files and records,
• Generate and send out invoices,
• Follow up on collections and allocate payments,
• Perform accounts reconciliations,
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies,
• Propose adjustments on the customer accounts,
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities,
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash… etc.,
• Assist in period closing for reporting purpose,
• Assist in drafting new policies and procedures and suggest improvements on the currents cycles,
• Financial and managerial accounting reporting to the management,
• Cooperate with other related departments/sections to maintain AR - accurate data base,
• Recommends changes to strengthen the internal control.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Requirement of a Professional Qualification (e.g. CMA, ACCA… etc.)
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in receivables and collections with reputable company
• Excellent knowledge of JDE system
• Highly numerate, with developed analytical skills using qualitative and quantitative data
• Computer skills including proficiency in common word processing, spreadsheet (especially Excel equations and pivots) and presentation programs
• In depth knowledge of financial statement specially accounts receivables, including its impact on the cash flow, budgeting and various financial statement accounts
• Familiarity with bank cash management systems and advanced payment methods
• Bi-lingual competency with proficiency of written and spoken Arabic and English
